Love my 2004 RX8... But

Love my 2004 RX8... But

But it seems you fix one thing another pops up. I dont know if its because the temp dropped dramatically, or a leak. Noticed slight Oil on the under carriage, right on the cross over. Temp over 3 days went from 86-34 F.. Oil dropped from top of indention (passed Full mark) to possibly a qrt lower than full line. So it could be a gasket from the looks of it front of engine ( said from mechanic random fact of.. near the harmonic balancer ). Oh I do wish I did not have this luck with everything. Going to Double check the oil in the morning to double check the oil loss.

If it's the front main seal leaking, you will want a knowledgeable shop or a dealer to do the work. It is entirely possible to destroy the engine from the stack falling out of alignment if the e-shaft isn't properly held in place when the existing seal is removed.
