WA Looking for Apex seal rebuild Washington state

I have a 2005 rx8 currently sitting at 107k miles. Car runs fine and all but I want to have my apex seals rebuilt since the miles are adding up. Anyone know someone in the Washington state area? I live in marysville.

You don't rebuild apex seals, you replace them along with a bunch of other stuff. Look up Pineapple Racing in Oregon, they are as good as you will find.

Wait, "since the miles are adding up" is not a good reason to open these things up. If it runs and has good compression, leave it well enough alone. Does it present any symptoms?

I would hate to see a less than honest rebuilder take advantage of a Rotary fan. Rob at Pineapple is top notch, but just in case you haven’t I suggest you take an hour and read through this to familiarize yourself with the car, the rotary engine and just what a rebuild entails. Certainly no reason to pay a minimum of three thousand dollars for a rebuild on a healthy engine!

Don't compromise on quality for the sake of convenience.

Sure, pulling your engine and arranging freight to take it to a good rebuilder is inconvenient. But you know what's a complete and total pain in the ***? Having a shitty rebuild that barely works for a while and then having to pay to do it over again, only this time arranging freight to take it to a good rebuilder like you should have done the first time.

Yeah and unless you are having someone do the removal and install, it doesn't matter if they are local or not IMO. I shipped mine from Texas to Oregon and back and had zero issues, my buddy had his done in Dallas and lost $10,000.00 thanks to a scumbag named BDC.

If the car runs fine then leave it. Based on all the posts around here lately, it is likely it will come back running worse.

The only issue that I’m having right now is when I’m driving home I’m traffic which is a long commute and when it’s hotter outside. For example, I’ll be in 2nd or 3rd gear when traffic picks up and I give it some gas or sounds like the car is accelerating but my speed doesn’t change for a good second or second in a half then it like hits almost like a power ban to catch up.

Even though I’m not touching the clutch during speed up?
