Liquid performance

Let me start with the new rule sucks just because people can't act right. Ok that's out now I have come across a product new to me called liquid performance ethanol equalizer and can find no other posts on this I don't want to kill my 8 with some strange fluid I've never seen and was hoping to get some feed back. But as I am restricted to this newbie section of the forums it might not happen. Eney one ever use this stuff or know if it's safe to use in are 8's ? I have watched all the YouTube stuff on it and if it works as advertised might be a good additive for are 8's as far as cleaning out carbon and water . Please I would love to get some feed back on this product thanks.

The New Member subforums get just as much attention as the rest of the forum. You haven't gotten any responses because no one that has seen it has experience with it. The ethanol content in E10 gas isn't enough to cause any problems with the RX-8, so you would basically only be wasting your money trying to "solve" it.

either that or no one has an answer for you which might indeed be the real reason why no one responded.

This forum draws just as much attention, and answers, as the other fora.

I got curious and started Googling that stuff. I found only one review of it, a glowing review on Amazon by someone who has exactly one Amazon review. I presume he's a shill for the product.

It's sold by a lot of places, but with no endorsements other than its own advertising copy. The only independent discussion I found was in a power equipment forum where it was mentioned in passing among fuel stabilizers.

Useless snake oil is useless snake oil.

If we feel that a thread should be moved out of the new member forum, it will be done.

Going to start testing but still need some use apex and side seals and any othe seals that this stuff might come in contact with that wouldn't be found in a piston driven engine.
