Knocking my head against the floor because of hard starting issues.

So here's what I've done I own a 2004 RX8

New battery -900 Cold cranking amps
New upgraded starter - One everyone here recommends
New Plug wires
New Plugs
New Coils
Cleaned the Cat
Cleaned the MAF
Checked the fuel pressure from the pump and it's optimal
Compression check came back as still good
.... I'm still having issues starting this guy after I cold start it it starts up on the 2nd or 3rd crank over. I run it and it gets warm it WILL NOT start at all until it cools down... Does anyone have any other ideas on this?

Even foolish (Yous should have checked that first) answers would help.

Have you cleaned the ESS?
If not, try that.

I haven't until just now! and it's now starting everytime it just takes a few cranks.... I also have a vacuum leak somewhere could this also be adding to harder starts while warm?

Did you do the 20 brake stomp reset?
If not, turn the key on and rapidly tap the brake pedal 20 times within 8 seconds.

Well if you know you have a leak, it needs to be fixed, but I don't think a vacuum leak would cause problems during hot starts.
It's usually either bad compression or a failing fuel pump.
Dix you get a rotary specific compression test?
2 sets of 3 numbers.

Yes I did get a correct test done over in SAC CA by a certified mazda mechanic who basically works on these all day. Also my fuel pump is sitting at 57

Well, I'm out of ideas. The only other thing I can think of is maybe a loose or corroded ground wire, but the hot start part doesn't make sense.

Was the pump hot when you checked the pressure, or did you allow it to cool down?
That's all I got.
