Just some advice on you guys

Hello everyone, I'm new here. having an RX-8 as a first car I'm not sure what to do or what to look for. I have basic mechanic experience, but not with rotary. Since I just purchased this from a friend for around $7000. He stated that there are no accidents or floods, only gas and go. I just want to give this car a good rate; I don't mind if the parts are expensive; I'm grateful to have it, and would you mind sharing any tips or advice about owning this car? Thanks.

In addition, my friend has no rotary experience. As a result, he would prefer a family vehicle. since it was a good deal. I just want to give this oto my all in the hopes of owning it for a long time.

read the new owners threads at least twice. what year, trim, transmission, and miles on your car.? its not just gas and go, hope you and your friend know about having to add oil to a rotary or you are in for a headache

rx8help.com compiles info from this forum, should be enough to get you started.
Gas and go is good as long as that implies gas, go and preventative maintenance
