Hey everyone, I'm clearly new here. My monicker is Will J and I hail from NJ. I haven't bought an 8 yet, but I've more or less given my word to a friend to buy his and I intend to. He let me drive it around for a few weeks and I loved it- The most fun I've had driving a car. I admit I'm pathetically clueless when it comes to cars and got the green light after letting my dad check it out and searching up the cars information. My friend said it used to drift. I don't plan on running through all that. The only thing that really stood out to me reading through this forum was the ignition issues. I think it has that business going on inside of it. The car I'm looking to buy is an 04. It seems to have some of the Veilside cosmetics, or atleast the carbon fiber hood. I'd like to work on it with my old man (the 8 needs to be cleaned up a bit). I'm not home now to work with it and I plan on transporting the vehicle to my home town when I visit via truck (if possible). I'd like to leave it there and work on it during summer and take it back before the winter strikes. Together with my old man and the information here, I hope to learn a bunch and I imagine being here a while.
