Bought my son this (see pic below) for his 16th birthday. He is now 19. We have had many of the problems that most have. Found all the answers to the problems on this site. Talk about a wealth of information.

We have had the fuel leak at the pump, bad Neutral Safety Switch, O2 sensors, new BHR coils, MAF problems, etc.

I am a Federal Investigator for NHTSA and so have solid access to recall information, defect investigations, consumer complaints, Technical Service Bulletins, and repair manuals for RX8s and all vehicles. I can lend a hand with this info if needed. Just PM me.

Ya, GT. Rear spoiler, sun roof, black leather with red leather inlay. It is very clean too.

Sweet ride! I was looking at a very similar one to that but with very low kilometres. Could you tell me how much you've had to spend in terms of repairs so far to get it running well?

 

You are some great dad to give that to your son as a first car at age 16. And I guess he is a safe driver, as you don't mention any accidents in the past three years.
