Just got my childhood dream car

Hi every one ,

Im new to this website, and I just got my childhood dream come true a RX-8
its a Black 04 RX-8 and 35,000 milles n it , even every one told not to buy a rotary powered rx8 , and evn when I knew the problems that I have to face if I not maintain it properly , I brought it becuse I love it that much

but it has this issue , it takes a little time to start the car and a white smoke is going out from exhaust even when I shut down the engine , the car was not used for around 1 and half years and I felt in love with the car as I saw it for the first time nd brought it

thanks

Welcome !!!! Read till your eyes bleed ! LOL then go get your hands dirty . Read some more !
I have had my 04 RX8 for 3 months now . I look for excuses to go some where out of town !!! Every time I notice more of the little things that make this an incredable car . Soooo much fun to drive !!!
The info here will help keep your car in tip top shape !
Couple of suggestions .... use a premix NOW ... plan on new coils and plugs and wires ASAP Learn the reset after the new plugs wires and coils !!!!
Do the 100 buck modifications listed ., Fun to do ....

When you are done reading that, read the Congrats Thread in my signature. There are several things that were discovered during my early relationship with my 04. They can make your life easier.

And, welcome.
