Just bought an 04 8 about 3 weeks ago, so far I like it, mainly bought it for something cheaper to drive but also have always loved the looks of these cars. looking to be a member.

This post of mine increase my count by one. Posts don't 'count' in the classifieds, many regional subforums, and the Lounge. Please re-read the announcement. Note how it includes how NOT to increase your post count.

 

You bought it because it was cheaper to drive? What were you driving before?

 

Replies count toward post count. I believe it is frowned upon to try and conduct business in the new member forum. It doesn't get much traffic anyways.

 

My other vehicle I own is a 98 jeep wrangler on 35s I drive 30 miles one way to work everyday, so yes I know a 8 isn't exactly a gas saver, but compared to that it is.

 

My apologize on this, I did read that forum just kinda breezed through it, I run a forum myself on a jeep club and just not used to rules being so complex. Of course though we don't have thousands of members like you do here so we don't have a big issue with spammers and such

yea i will post some, how do you guys post pictures here? do you have to use an outside host such as photobucket and input the code?

 

Tons of ways. If you upload them to Picasa, Photobucket, etc... you can post the [ img ] tags here. Can also post from Facebook by pulling up the pic on facebook to the large size, right click "copy image URL", then paste that URL in the [ img ] [/img] tags. Click the picture icon above the reply box to get the tags added for you.

You can also upload them to 8club directly by going to the advanced reply page, then scroll down to "manage attachments", click that, and upload accordingly. There are limits on the sizes and types.

Click "Edit" on your post and take a look at the 2nd line that I added. You can see the difference in the tags. The forum added the 'url' tags on the first line when you pasted the link. Pit the 'img' tags around the same link and it shows up as a pic.

ahh I see what you did there. my other forum I use doesn't do that, you post and img link and it comes up as a photo not a link, now I know for next time
