Intake manifold control runner stuck open
I have code p2004 and a misfire for bank one... Read that the stuck open thing will cause the misfire but is it normal for the car to not idle with this problem? It will start and only stay on with my foot on the gas. Could it be as simple as taking it apart and cleaning it?

Misfires can also be caused by failing coils, coil wires, age plugs, or fueling issues to name a few.
With the code given, you know you have an inoperable intake actuator. Fix it, retest and determine if further repairs are necessary. They are fairly easy to remove, clean and re-oil but do require a bit of time due to taking the intake apart.
