You know I am not sure what to think? If its real, it's a very nice job of integrating the bed into the body of the car. The ultimate killer is the Chrome bumper and the hideous tail pipes. Ultimately it is quite ugly, but you gotta give the guy/gal props for being unique and for some pretty nice body work.

 

Why on earth would a 90's S10 tailgate be fitted, I mean to go threw all that trouble you could at least fit a colorado or ranger bed.

 

Whether you like the details of the conversion or not, it definitely needs to keep the rotary engine. Otherwise much of the performance art aspect is gone.

Never know if Mazda might see it and like the concept. I remember back in the 60s or 70s somebody converted an Aston Martin into a station wagon. Outrageous at the time, but I believe that Aston Martin now makes one as part of their lineup.
