Well if your sure it is white smoke coming from your exhaust more then likely your engine is toast. You probably blew a water jacket seal. One way to be sure is to do a pressure test on the cooling system.

Any CEL codes?

Good luck, sounds like you need it.

How long has it been overheated?

Sounds like some serious damage, you could even have warped the housings, and nothing short of an engine rebuild.

There's a pretty active group of SATX members. I'd get in touch with them for help with troubleshooting (both whether your engine is toast and what caused the overheating) and what to do next.

How do I know if the engine is toast if I do the pressure test ?

I called a mechanic and said it may be blown headgasket which I know rotary don't carry headgasket so it may be some seals

Rotaries don't have headgaskets. They don't even have cylinder heads because they don't have cylinders.

You can go to Advance Auto Parts (probably Autozone and O'Reilly, as well) and rent a cooling system pressure tester. They'll put about $300 on your credit card and you'll get it back when you return the tool.

The tool will have a hand pump with pressure gauge and a large number of adapters for various cooling systems. Attach the correct adapter to your coolant tank and then connect it to the hand pump. Pump until the gauge reads about 13-15 psi. If it holds that pressure for several minutes, then you don't have any major coolant leaks.

If the pressure does drop noticeably then you need to check all of your coolant hoses, coolant tank, and radiator to make sure that none of those is the culprit. If your car overheated, then it could have been caused by that. If you find a leak outside the engine, repair it and then pressure test again.

If coolant is leaking out of the overflow tank where you put it in, that tank or the radiator nipple leading to it has probably failed. It's a pretty common issue, the plastic gets brittle with age. So if that's the case, pressure testing it will just confirm what you already know -- it's broken. Just inspect it visually, you should see the cracks if that's the case.

Find where it's spilling from

I'd pull the spark plugs and see if there's coolant deposits on them. But given the symptoms you described, I wouldn't hold my breath.

This engine has no valves. So no. Revving out a cold engine is a good way to destroy it further. If it's hard to start when cold, that's further confirmation that overheat destroyed it... sorry man.

Revving in neutral will not help the engine.

^Yeah, revving under load(in gear) is way different from without load(in neutral).

If you smell gas in the coolant, then I am pretty sure it won't be a cheap fix.
