Review on the Racing Beat Gauges

So thanks to Jedi(Dark knight) for the DIY, 200(man *****/diaper nation fan) for positivity and of course the seller. These gauges cam pre assembled since they came off of another 8. Made it really easy to install. It was a PITA trying to install the hoses and sensors though. You really need to be double jointed. As for looks, they look good during the daytime. The lights on the inside of the gauges are kind of meh. But they do the job and aren't that bad to look at. I love the way they are set inside the ashtray, RB did a wonderful job with this. Any body wanting to build their own, should definately look into the ashtray pod. Then add gauges of their own choice. I just got a solid deal on these. I give a 4/5 stars.

Next is the Nitrous kit, my fuel adapter came in from BHR. Thanks to Charles for being cool when my package didn't show up.

When I finally get around to installing my N20 setup, I plan on putting my N20 pressure gauge and fuel pressure gauge in the center of the dash. I like that look. I don't know what other gauge to put in the 3rd opening though.

What do you mean "real temperature gauge?" I'm lost. Like temperature for the N20 bottle?

No, I'm pretty sure it's because all the stock thermostats read on the dial as "Hot, or not hot."

Not running stock gauges anymore though. I have RB gauges, that's why I'm confused.

I went to Racing Beat's site and couldn't find the gauge panel listed. I figured it was discontinued. They still carry it though, and for some bizarre reason it's listed under "Cooling". I get that a lot of people put temp gauges in it, but you could fill it with other gauges, and that seems like a goofy way to categorize it. Anyway, it is available: 3-Gauge Dash Panel for 04-08 RX-8 - Racing Beat
