I guess i should introduce myself then!
Hello, my name is Alice
I drive a black, '07 RX8 GT. I call her the Black Mamba (brownie points if you get the movie reference) and i love her to bits. Funny story, i've actually been forum lurking for the past year since i first bought my 8, but i only decided to sign up today cause i was bored and figured it wouldnt hurt.
I was originally at odds with which car i should get but i think choosing the 8 was perfect. She matches my personality and driving her is a dream. She's singular and tough, but sleek and sexy. A lot of people wondered why i didnt go for the RX7, and the simple answer is, HOW CAN YOU SAY NO TO SUICIDE DOORS!?!?!
I'd like to start learning to do the mechanical work necessary to keep her in running order on my own, so if anyone has a step by step mechanical guide to any/all upgrades/replacements/run of the mill maintenance i would really appreciate that. If anyone has a tool kit list i'll be needing to do the aforementioned maintenance/mech work that also would be lovely.
Please feel free to say hello, or internet stalk me. I dont bite, i'm just sarcastic and nerdy sometimes.

I've already learned quite a bit from my lurking but being an active member at least now I can post something as it comes up too. I LOVE the DIY forums stuff I've found so far!!! You guys are crafty as ****, huh?
