Hey!

I ignored common sense, and am now the proud owner of a 2005 231 8 in Strato Blue!

Pretty pleased with it so far, reading through the service history it had coils, plugs and cables done just before I bought it *phew*

Has a few niggles, pretty sure the engine mounts are dead and it has the obligatory misty rear taillight... But neither stop the car from driving, so meh!

*I solemnly swear not to start new threads about ignition troubles without googling first*

Did you happen to have a compression test done prior to purchase?

If not, do you know when the last test was completed?

Nope didn't bother as it fired up no problem, I was just joking about the ignition issues, its all good (for now haha)

Yer I have been reading through the epic new owner thread, its been really useful! Think I'm going to tackle cleaning the MAF tomorrow morning!
