Hello,i'm on holiday in Durban with my Rx8(stock) and i've noticed an increase in preformance in these humid conditions,it seems my rx8 is alot louder(sounds like the new chevy lumina s),and has gained a significant amount of power.I want to know of there is any way I can make my 8 run like it is currently once I have returned home.Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated,thank you.

 

This may be due to your cat converter failing.

 

You may have knocking issues that are slightly kept down by added moisture in the air.

 

Maybe get one of those water injection kits that they used to advertise in the back pages of magazines like Popular Mechanics?
