How do I change the Thread title in the list?

How do I change the Thread title in the list?
Hi, I made a quite extensive DIY for changing the air pump's bearings. I originally called my thread "Change air pump bearings (both) with pics".
However I noticed that DIY posts all start by "DIY - ". So I changed the title of my thread but it's not being reflected in the DIY section list.
How can I change that so people know there's actually infos, not just a question?
I wanted the name to be "DIY - Changing both air pump bearings (with pics)"
And yes, I searched and looked at the first 5 pages of hits and got nothing on that. Sorry if it's a common question.
