Hi, Newhere, looking for advice

I have a rx8 Radiator problem, need help knowing what group to ask. The other groups wont let me start thread. Its about brackets, I got my son an rx8 for his 17th bday, and he rear-ended another car,, just having trouble fitting the new radiator in, the crash wasn't all to bad, but the wholes wont line up? any help would be greatly appreciated........jw

Ps. we seem to be able to get bottom brackets in place, amusing they are the right ones, its the top ones giving us fits, thanks jw

Which radiator is it? There are several made that actually have fitment issues.


I believe the top brackets are angled,I can't remember, I did mine a year ago.

DIY: Replace your Radiator (aftermarket or OEM, both the same) - RX8Club.com...
I'm not very good at copy and paste so...type in diy radiator in the search tab and follow the thread by sonicsdaman.

I think I have stumble upon something, Their are 4 black braces with holes that fit radiator. So I imagine 2 for top and 2 for bottom. I can find the bottom position, but really struggling with top.


Maybe these tutorials will help, just cant get them to load, thanks for helping me, cheers

I didn't take my fuse box out either. IIRC, I just removed the airbox and battery box from the top side.

This is the only photo I could find of the top mounts from my Koyo installation. It seems I didn't care much about the top side for some reason. I have tons of photos of the bottom.



Which radiator are you trying to install? If it is not OEM, Koyo, or CSF, you will probably encounter problems, according to the experiences posted on this forum.
