Hello everybody! I'm new here, given that this is the new member forum. I probably should've joined this forum earlier. I've had my 2007 6 speed Velocity Red GT dorito for a while now and everything couldn't be better. It's an amazing car and I look forward to being a member here.

 

Good to see another 8 in good shape.

How many miles? And what do you use the car for?

 

Some people call me crazy for daily-ing an rx8 but I say they're crazy! It has about 96,500 miles but only 3,000 of that is mine. I've had it since December 2016 but didn't start driving it 'til early this year because of unrelated financial reasons.

 

I daily mine, and so do some people here.

Other than the gas mileage, there is nothing too difficult about dailying one.

 

I quite like dailying mine. It's a neck breaker for sure.

 

I DD'd my 05 for a a while. Plenty of useful space. Especially compared to my MX-5

Looks clean. Very nice! My 2nd RX8 was velocity red as well. Beautiful color in person. Glad you are enjoying your car in the way it was meant. By daily driving the nuts off it!

 

I am enjoying it but I think it's time for someone else to have some fun... I don't get to drive it as much as it deserves sadly.

 

I think red is the best color for the 8 .this is mine

 

I am a fan of the red. At first I didn't think I'd like it but it grew on me. My friend had a white one and that also grew on me but his got totaled sadly.

 

Welcome!! Very beautiful 8!! How long have you owned the car and do you know any of the car's history?

 

I've owned it for about 2.5yrs now. I know nothing about its history aside from a damaged radiator, had a hole in it, from the previous owner. But, all has been well since and it's been good to me.

 

My '05 is velocity red, always loved that color.
