Welcome to the community.

Even though you were into the RX7's, there are many differences between the two.

I added a few links that you might find useful.

If you have any problems with the car, as im sure you already know bring them here first.

If you have any issue's or concerns dont hesitate to PM myself or another MOD.

Enjoy the forum

Please read that new and potential owners start link. I owned all three generations of RX7s and have been driving rotaries on street and track since 1973 and Williard is right , there are a lot of differences between RX7s and RX8s and you will need to learn the RX8s' quirks. Did you get a rotary compression test on that 2005 before buying it?

It truly amazes me how many excited new owners of used RX8s never thought to get a compression test of their used RX8 before blindly spending their hard-earned money on it. If you are a past RX7 guy , you should know how important it is to know the engine health of any rotary before purchase. I hope you did that and the compression numbers were good, or else get ready to spend more good money to get it back up to snuff. Best to you.
