"Help!" is not a good thread title. This thread is about a ABS/TCS/DSC fault

My rx8 is acting up when I first start driving my traction control light starts flash then the front right locks up and starts grinding then it stops then the traction light stays on

Thread title renamed.

First, confirm that you have the same size tire on all 4 wheels (different rolling circumference could trigger this)
Second, confirm that all 4 tires have approximately the same amount of tread (brand new on one tire and completely bald on another tire could be enough of a difference to trigger this)
Third, confirm that all 4 tires are at the same tire pressure, and that pressure is between 29psi and 32psi. (different tire pressures could trigger this)

If you are ok on all of those, it is probably a wheel speed sensor malfunction.

Could it have anything to do with the steering wheel being changed

Yes, it could. Is your steering wheel on straight? Was the steering rack straight and an alignment done if the steering shaft was removed at any point?

I just got an aliment today but I don't think it did it to them
