Help !!! I just bought a RX 8 was running fine till I washed it today

Help !!! I just bought a RX 8 was running fine till I washed it today

After I washed it started right up then died so I fired it up and it idels really low when I try to drive it it acts bogged down plz help!!!

Hey Adam,
do you have an aftermarket intake system?
if it sucked water in, it can cause what you're currently experiencing.

Pop the hood and make sure the water filter didn't get soaked.
Next, check your MAF sensor, if that gets wet it can also cause issues.

no it's stock my wire for my map sensor is hanging down just found that out I think the spark plugs may have went bad

what do you mean it's 'hanging down'?
as in unplugged?
are the wires frayed at all?

Do you mean the MAF sensor? Did you wash the engine compartment? Because that would definitely do it...

why would the spark plugs go bad after a car wash?
that doesn't really make sense to be honest.
Wires are pulled out just hanging like they got ripped out

And when you say ripped out, do you mean the plug is disconnected or someone cut the wires?
