Hello all,

Just bought a 2010 RX8 GT Manual in black on black. Only has 64k miles. Loving the car so far!!!

It has heated seats, and the lights come on the switches when I flip them on, but the seats don't seem to get warmer. Are they just really weak from the factory, or is there an issue? Is this something that could be fuse-related, or am I looking at doing surgery on my seats? lol

 

The wires in the seat can break, 3 of the 4 in mine have, they're tiny little wires. Not sure about the construction of the 2010 seats, but it's not THAT bad to trace and repair in the earlier seats.

Of course, checking the fuses is always a good start.

That's helpful info. I'll start with the fuses this weekend. As far as repairing the wires, what tools would I need?
