Help ease a fellas mind!!!
New member! Jus bought an rx8 and what a beast it is! Loved every second with it so far. Upon buying the car i did my fair share of research. Basically i was reversing into my drive and stalled. It started straight away but then bout 5 secs i stalled again (just my bad clutch control) it started again then that was that, parked the car went home. Just need someone to ease my mind if they have any info on wether that could cause any flooding. I did take the car for a good 25 min drive before hand. But prior to that i did like a 10 min drive. Stopped at a mates for about 5min then did my 25 min drive..was the engine warm enough during that 10min??
2 questions.
Thanks!

Welcome.
If your ignition is in good shape, then you shouldn't worry about warming it up or flooding it.

Thanks for the reply. I bought it with full service history. The last owner seemed to have taken cared of it. Maybe i just worry too much lol. But if anyone else has any more info to share, please do.

Coils, plugs, & wires should be changed every 30k miles.
Have fun!

Welcome!
"Full service history" rarely includes the important items, but since you have a list, you can go through it to see if those were actually covered. If they aren't in the list, you can assume that they were ignored, so you might want to address as appropriate to your mileage.
See the new owner's thread for a list of them.
