Hello Together from an new RX-8 Lover from Germany
Hi to you all
I am from Germany and i am proud new RX-8 owner and i want to introduce myself to the Forum.
I am 22 years old and I´m from Germany. My previous Car was an Mercedes w209 CLK and now i love my RX-8 car
I´ve got some questions to you. I´m searching for an so called "specific fuel shell diagram" like this one:
http://www.spritmonitor.de/sc/pics/v...eldiagramm.jpg
For my older cars this allways helped me to understand the engine characteristics. But for the Mazda RX-8 Renesis Engine (231) I´ve never found this chart anywhere.
Perheaps someone of you has this chart or has bulid this with an OBD-Tool on an dynamometer?
This really woud delight myself
The other question is, how to check weather the automatic light regulation is working. On my Mercedes i allways could see the light 'nick/blink' when position the car-key on the 2nd Position. My RX-8 doesn´t do that. So is there an way to see the Light motors moving?
I really hope my english isn´t that bad
Greetings,
DIY-Guy

That looks like a specific fuel consumption curve. I don't think I've seen one for the RX-8.
As for the 'automatic light regulation', I'm guessing you mean to confirm that headlamp auto-leveling is working properly? I personally don't know of a feature in the car that confirms proper operation of the auto-leveler.

Thanks, thats the specific fuel consumption curve per loadlevel (internal preasure) and RPM. Finding one of these would be very great.
I think people with an ECU-Tuning could have this (perhaps only with theyr new data, but this also would help me)
Here is an picture of my car (Year 2004 - 231-Renesis)

Here in Germany the automatic leveling of the xenon-Lights is duty. And also the so called 'TÜV' technical monitoring club has to check, weather this works. I just wanted to check this myself before driving to 'TÜV' next year.
