Wow, quite the thread bump. I'm a big fan of MT85. It worked great in the rx-8, worked great in the turbo miata I got shortly after moving to colorado, and now it's working great in my 2nd gen BRZ. I do miss the rx-8, but thankfully managed to convince a friend to take it from me before I moved as it was such a great car. Since there aren't any tracks nearby where I live now I figured I wouldn't need the rx-8, but as it turns out there's a club that runs time trials on a 1 mile kart track less then 20 minutes from my house.
