WA heater control doesn't work on my 2004 rx-8

I did the test and the numbers go up and down like they are supposed to .just had engine installed and I am wondering if there is a connector they missed.looking for an electrical diagram any help would be appreciated .Only had the car 4 months and still learning alot about it

The blend door or blend door actuator is probably stuck.

Its a very Common issue on these cars. Mine did it. Its the heat control switch/control. The solder comes detached. Replace it and be warm again ;-)

See thread on how to repair temp control , very easy step by step fix . Took me about and hour and a half to do . I set my lap top up by the car and followed it step by step . Very easy fix !

blend door opens an closes .the temp dial opens and closes the gate .I did the heater test and the dial changed the numbers 0-16 smoothly.I just back flushed the heater core and it got a little better.It now will blow warm and changes to cold when you turn the temp. dial. just had engine replaced and thats when I noticed the heat was not hot . maybe the to hoses are backwards? thanks any advice is helpful
