Headlight problems
Hi everyone, I recently replaced both headlight units because I was in an accident. They are sloped HID headlights, but they are sloped the wrong way. Instead of going down on the drivers side, and up on the passenger, they are sloped up on the driver's side, blinding oncoming traffic as i pass them.
I bought them from Japan (as you know the headlights can get very expensive), it was the cheapest option at $1000 a set.
Bottom line is... Am I going to have to buy new headlight units to correct the problem? Or can I just buy new bulbs? I'm not sure exactly what gives the headlights their slope.
Thanks!

Japan drives on the other side of the road, so Japanese headlights are naturally set to cut off higher on the left. Bulbs won't fix this, but you may be able to adjust the headlight mounts themselves. I haven't played with that myself, but that would be my first attempt.
$1000 for headlights? Surely there are used ones on ebay or similar for less.

I tried adjusting them, but it makes a really weird pattern when shining on my garage door. I might have to just deal with it, or buy a new pair it sounds like
