Am doing a ls1 swap into a 2005 rx8. I got the cx racing swap kit for this. Got everything but they're headers because looking at they're pictures of it underneath I don't think the long tube on them will clear the side of the transmission. The headers they sell look like the are specifically for the t56 transmission. And I'm going to be running a 4l60e out of a gto. And I'm sure the 4l60e is a bit wider than the t56. So I guess what I'm asking is has anyone did this swap with a automatic transmission? If so what headers did you use? Or can anyone think of headers that might work? Also wanna run electronic cut outs if room allows. Anyone recommend any good electronic cutouts?
