Hi everyone.
After a long hiatus from cars, I decided to shop for an RX-8. I'm dwkfym from www.hikickracing.com (not sure if that url is still active); used to be pretty popular among miata guys for the cheap-*** DYI mods (especially the aero mods and testing) I did on my 91 miata to beat an S2k in my home road course.

I got out of sports cars a few years ago after I was done with all my schools, moved onto karting and motorcycles. I'm in the market for an RX-8. I don't think I'm going to chop it up and turn it into another racing machine. Hoping to have a fun daily driver now, perhaps a track day or two a year. (I'm imagining my current goals are going to change as soon as I get back on the track)

Just thought I'd say hi; I'll post questions here (after doing a search). I do hope to get my RX-8 soon. Hoping to get the lightest one I can; I heard the 04-05 'base' models are great, and that all with sun/moonroofs have an LSD. I hope the weight penalty isn't that bad. Do they have non-moonroof cars with LSD?

 

I do beleive all of the RX8's come with LSD
