Hey guys, brand new to the forum! Just picked up an RX8 a couple months ago and I'm in the process of getting it ready for the upcoming season!


I've been involved in racing for a number of years but after my wife I had our first child a year ago I've decided that I now need to be racing on a budget, which brought me to the clear choice of the RX8!


I found a ridiculous deal on an '04 and snatched it up. 180xxxkms on the body, with a new motor going in from mazda at 150xxxkms. I quickly found the bushings on the wishbones were worn and causing a hell of a banging noise so I have some poly bushings on order for the control arms, as well as race pads.


Looking forward to getting to know a few of you, and hopefully learning a lot about these cars. That said I am definitely looking for some suggestions of what absolutely should be done to the RX8's when they are to be used as track cars?
