fuel line quick connect replacement tool

I need to replace the quick connect on my fuel line at the fuel pump. It is leaking. They say there is a tool that you need to use but I can't find it anywhere other than online. I need this soon and can't wait for shipping. It looks like this:

Anyone know where I can get it at a reasonable price? Maybe I can rent it from somewhere?

or just buy a new line at the dealership..

some people have also just removed the quick connect, added an adapter and clamped a hose to the pump directly, which also conveniently eliminates the pump housing cracking issue for the most part. which ironically i have a feeling you are mistaking for the fitting being faulty.

or try a hydraulic shop if you can't be bothered with the above, they should have tools and fittings to rebuild nylon fuel lines.

that is what i tried to say, maybe it was a little unclear. it's a fairly common failure point once the pump housings get close to 10 years old.
