I was trying to get the 19" OEM Forged wheels but they are to darn expensive...then i was reading more about it... the harsher ride and less thread life on the 19" wheels on top of more expensive tires i decided to stick with 18"...

What are the best Forged wheels out there?

Also, there are different types of forged wheels and the term "forged" is sort of vague. And the price difference depends on a lot of factors.

 

"Best" for what purpose? Are you racing?
17" might be "best" to begin with, depending on what you want to do.

 

sorry for the confusion...im looking into 18" Forged Aluminum wheels thats an exact dimensions of the stock one...i just wanted something lighter and stronger than the regular aluminum wheels right now...and i did contemplate on a 19" but it isnt that much noticeable compared to the 18" ... and the 19" have shorter thread life on the tires and more expensive tires...

 

You won't find an 18" wheel that is much lighter than the stock wheels, and the stock cast wheels are really strong. And 19' tires do not wear out faster and price wise they are about the same as 18" tires.

 

Do you have any recommendations for a 19" Same dimension as the OEM? I would really like the stock 19" but too darn expensive unless i get them used which is really rare...

 

Here are a few light options. We're not going to shop for you though

Forgestar F14 looks really good on RX8s IMO. They're available in 18x8.5 (not quite the stock 18x8 but close enough?)
Rays Gramlights, likewise in 18x8.5
Enkei RPF1 in 18x8 are very popular with track enthusiasts for light weight, strength and affordability.

Like stated above "forged" can cover a few different manufacturing options. If you mean to say "not cast" then don't forget flow-formed and other types. Read up on Tire rack, they have all this info in spades.

 

19" on a stock body Series 1 RX-8 looks silly. But you can find 19 x 8 +50 rims all over the place.
