Forged vs Flow-forming aluminum wheels

So if you know anything about these two processes. You'd know the process of a forged wheel and flow formed wheel can reduce up to 15% of weight. This process also makes a stronger wheel compared to cast.

Take a few things into consideration before dropping an answer.
•cost
•durability
•structural rigidity
•real world

Bottom line. Which is better?

Forged is better.
Forged is not really lighter. A forged wheel is because the metal is stronger so they use less.

The rim will hold up to more abuse than the cast wheel.

Flow-formed gets you, say, 70% of the benefit of forgies for say 30% of the price premium over cast. So.. Do you need to save the extra 1lb of wheel weight? Go forged. Do you think you'll feel the difference?... Meh. I don't think i would personally... Which is why I run flow-formed.
They're said to be fragile, but mine have held up a few years of track just fine. In fact more because I got them used.

Find the closed aggressive wheel fitment thread, and then read the page or so where tiltmode and I discuss this stuff at length,

It starts on page 234 and goes on for a couple of pages. Tiltmode works for VMR wheels you have got to sift thru the cry babies a bit but there is some good info about wheels.

The problem is most don't understand the terminology being used. Saying "forged" is kind of vague. You have to understand the different manufacturing Technics (which most cheapy wheel manufacturers don't share for a reason).
