Hello everyone. I read the DIY - https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-do-...lb-swap-36067/

Looked easy but ran into trouble removing the wheel cowl because of several stripped screws. Decided to go from below. I can feel the housing but am unable to turn it to remove the bulb. I can just barely jiggle it and am afraid that I will break it if I use more force. A couple posts state you must remove the harness prior to removing the bulb. Is that true? I'm doing this by feel and need an explanation of how to disconnect the harness without "seeing" it.

Also what is that little black rubber round thing in this picture? https://www.rx8club.com/attachments/...htinstall9.jpg I can feel it but it doesn't seem attached to anything.
