Flat battery problems

I wonder if anybody has any advice on a problem I have with my 2003 RX-8. I’ve had a flat battery, new battery fitted, DSC and ESP lights sorted but when I switch off the engine and remove the key the centre console display (cd/temp/climate control display) remains on.

Does it remain on after the door closes?

And, I will delete the duplicate thread for you.

Hi. Yes, it stays on after the doors are closed and after the doors are locked and alarm is set.

Maybe a stuck relay, not sure which one.

You can pull them and test them, or pull them until the dash goes out and then test that one.

If the relay tests OK, then look and see if it is getting told to stay on. If so, you need to track back to what is telling it to energize.

Note, I do not have a schematic handy, there may be a better first step.
