fan running with car off

fan running with car off

Is it normal for the fan to run after the car is turned off in a 2009? I had a 2004 last year and I don't remember this happening.

Yes if the coolant temp at the time of shut down is over a certain threshold. I think it over 205 F.
Happens in my 04 on hot summer city driving.
