Exterior Drivers Door Handle

So my drivers door handle broke (you know the cheap plastic poorly designed part that retains the spring). Anyway sourcing a replacement is becoming a little difficult (well difficult to do on the cheap).
My car has AKE so it has the little button on it, my car is also Phantom Blue (32C) so finding a used one is out of the question, not only is that color pretty rare but most don't have the hole for the AKE button, if I could find one in the right color without the hole I'd try drilling it out myself, but seems to be a no go too.

After some extensive searching on ebay it appears that a lot of other models also use the same door handle (I've seen 3, 5, 6, CX-7 and CX-9) referenced is this true? Also are the door handles all the same for all RX-8s or did the S2 use a different one? Sometimes I see 2004-2011 listed for compatibility other times only 2008/9-2011.

Any help would be appreciated here.

So it looks like I need FE87-59-410E-80 (with the -80 being Phantom Blue). I've seen FE87-59-410C-** available in Phantom Blue which appears to be identical looking (based on the pics). Is there a subtle difference between them the E is listed for a RX8 and the C for a 3 or 5.or is it maybe just a revision thing.

So looks like the letter is a revision thing, Looks like originally there way no letter then a B then a C and then finally a E. Does anyone know what the difference is, like purely an internal update thing or is there a physical difference. I've found the FE87-59-410E-80 for about $10 more than the C revision, I'd happily pay the extra if say the spring retaining portion has been beefed up or redesigned and is less likely to break in the future, but if there is no difference I'll just grab whatever is cheapest.

I have replaced these (same one on a cx5 as well as a 3) and repaired them. The only way to be sure is to put a piece of metal on top of the plastic part. When I fix them, that is how I do it. Then glue the parts together with epoxy. If there is a void, I add some cut of fiberglass mat.

As for the part, I am not sure an updated on was provided.

Thanks 04Green, good to know its the same. I think the confusion is because there are several part numbers, that succeed previous ones and not all of them cross match for all the cars despite them being the same.
Yeah repairing it wasn't great, it works currently, but I don't know for how long, the plastic seems so brittle.
OK, I'll just order whatever is the cheapest one regardless of revision.
