EPS Control Module

Hello, my name is David i have an RX8 2004 It’s got a problem with the steering wheel. It’s really hard to turn. I replaced the rack and pinion and the EPS control module and it still has the steering wheel light on and it’s hard to turn and every now and then it would smoothen towards the left turn and keep hard when i try to turn right. I hope someone would help me thanks!

Coolant drips can cause corrosion on the EPS connector below the overflow tank. See if it needs a good cleaning?

Still, in that scenario it's as hard as a non-power-steering car, not REALLY hard. Did anything chance when you replaced the rack?

Hey Thanks a lot for the help. I did clean it up yesterday and it’s working fine. And yeah when i changed the rack it was also working fine for almost 2 weeks then it got bad again hopefully it don’t happen again.
