engine block coolant drain for gauge

Summer is just around the corner and will be monitoring the temperatures. I was wondering what the thread size for the
Engine coolant drain plug is? I plan to read the coolant temperature from within the block rather than post thermostat. Any ideas, suggestions are welcomed.

Good idea. I can check but it's going to standard metric bolt size so you will need an adapter to get to 1/8 MPT.

Getting an adapter for it should not be an issue, its knowing the thread size and pitch that are the catch. Thanks btw

The size bolt for the coolant drain plug on the engine block is m10X1.50

I ended up getting the adapter from Glowshift direct, the part number being: GS-FA_M10-1.5
