Does the AEM intake kit come with new screens?

I plan on buying a new AEM intake soon (unless you want to sell me your used one) and was wondering if it came with the brand new screens + the dry flow filter cover. Every image I see on Amazon / Ebay, etc. is just the generic basic image, and AEMs site doesn't specify. I want to ensure I get new screens bc I feel like my originals are slightly misaligned.

Thanks.

Yes it comes with it's own screens. Oh and it's useless.

I figured I wouldn't see substantial gains, but in terms of all the intakes for our cars, I figured either AEM or RB w/ duct. Both are a high price to justify, but for what it's worth, I wouldn't mind the noise and extra "8 hp" from the aem. I also played with the stock box too much - removed walls / added K&N and I don't think my idle likes it.

Yeah it's best to run the stock box as is with an OEM filter. If you want sound get an exhaust.

The screens cannot become misaligned in the factory duct as they are tightly snapped in place.
Perhaps I'll put the OEM filter back in, and leave the walls out. OR, I can leave the K&N in, and put the walls back in. Car drives fine and well, but after it's warmed up a bit the idle will be slightly rough...no stalling and not much fluctuating but I believe it's from the K&N and no wall setup I have atm.

I'm debating what I should do next...I just want a clean car with a few extra horses...right now I have the drop in filter and a turboxs catback. Perhaps I should go back to OEM filter and just get a downpipe - but chances are I won't be getting it tuned. I don't want a CEL either. If I get a high flow catted downpipe (such as Racing Beat) and couple that to my catback, should I expect a decent gain without a tune? Or should I just add that potential power upfront and get an intake? That's my predicament.

Only current mods are coilovers, the KN drop in filter, and TurboXS catback exhaust. Already upgraded all of my ignition components, etc. Like I said, I would like to get a catted downpipe, but I don't plan on tuning the car. If I can get away with getting a downpipe / midpipe and unlocking a few HP, that's something to consider. So it comes down to either a downpipe or intake right now. My car only has 11k miles so the OEM cat is in pretty good shape, and the way I see it is if I get the AEM intake, I'll get that extra few HP and fix my idle issue. I daily drive my car and only use it for "spirited" street driving.

I just don't understand why you want "a few extra hp", but you don't want to tune? All that money wasted...
Have you read the new and potential owners thread? Or the Modding for newbies?

Thing is, you can't feel a few extra horses, and there is really not a lot you can do short of turbocharging that will be felt. So in short, beginner power mods are wasted on this car, go big or spend your money somewhere else.

Of course maybe you just want to tinker and do the car your way, which is fine too, it's your money. Just don't expect to ever meet those horses you're adding

Oh hi Charles, didn't know I was replying to you this whole time. Just sent you a message via BHR's site. Was looking into your catted midpipe and an AEM intake. And yes, my stock box is fine, and I can go back to an OEM filter and that would likely fix my idle issue, but at this point I'd rather splurge on something aftermarket.
