Ditched the SRT-4

Hey all!

I wanna introduce myself to the Forums, my name is Rob and I am coming from a weekend driven Big Turbo SRT-4. I have wanted to get behind the wheel of an RX-8 since 2004, I remember test driving one at the local Mazda dealership when I was 18 but my parents wouldn't Co-Sign for me .
Anyway, I've done a bunch of preventative maintenance and already been to my first Auto-X event, the car is a pleasure to drive and honestly its downright addicting. If anyone is active in the SCCA and attends any events in or around the Eastern NC area, LMK!

-Rob

Welcome to the insanity.

If you haven't already, create an account at http://mazdamotorsports.com/ and submit your AX result. You can get access to factory parts at wholesale prices.

Thanks for the welcome and the tip, I checked out the site and I'm definitely going to look into joining. I checked out the members discount pricing for a new 13B-MSP from Mazda....11 Grand....Ouch!

New engines are basically unicorns.

You can get a reman engine from Mazda Motorsports but they won't accept cores so it's cheaper to go through some place like Jim Ellis Mazda Parts.
