Coin box removal
I am interested in removing the coin box to the left of the steering wheel (left hand drive). Can anyone give me some direction. I am betting the hinge just snaps in, but I have tried pulling it out, and it is putting up some resistance, and I don't want to break it.
Thanks,
Andrew

Coinbox removal Why?
Monchie,
My bright idea is to mount an oil temp gauge there for track days. I can unplug it an put the coin box in when I change my mind about it later. It won't be super visible, but my gauge has and alarm so at least I can be alerted before the crap really hits the fan.
I still haven't gotten it out - I understand squeezing the sides to get it past the stops, but I haven't force the hinge to separate yet. With the weather getting warmer I will be willing to put more muscle into it with less fear of breaking cold, brittle plastic.
Thanks,
Andrew
