Changing fuel injectors
Hey guys, what do I need to know about changing fuel injectors? I know that I need to remove the throttlebody and the aem intake. What else should I be concerned? Any hoses that I should not be removing? Thanks

You'll need to pull the whole upper intake manifold. Be very careful with the black plastic manifold below the primary injector manifold it is pretty easy to break a hose end off.
Why are you changing injectors?

Pull it without disconnecting any hoses correct? Mine is a 6 port, do i have to pull the bottom piece too? I'm running 4 denso's 350cc and 2 stock ones. They sent me two wrong ones

Yes you'll pull the middle one also. There is a diy on pulling the manifold that will give you step by step instructions.
Back to why, who gave you them? Were your stock injectors bad?
Also if your running non stock there is a good chance you will have to tune them.

Ok thanks. I ordered them from fiveomotorsport.com and one of my injectors were bad or dirty. I didn't know I have to tune them, does that mean that I will be running too lean?

This whole things smells fishy.
First thing is if you have to ask about what's in the way to get to the injectors you shouldn't be doing it.
Second, clearly you didn't change the injectors the first time so why are you attempting to do it now?
And yes if the injectors are not the exact OEM replacements then you'll need to re-tune (IMO).

Thanks for the heads up.

You didn't learn how to do it or you wouldn't have asked.
250 is not a lot of money at all.
You could do a heck of a lot more damage than 250 trying to do it yourself.
My bet is that you do.
And you'll be back trying to figure out how you screwed up the wiring for the injectors or why they didn't seat correctly ... and now you have a vacuum leak between the oring seat and the injector.
Good luck .. you've got the wrong car if 250 is a lot of money to you.

Or you don't get them set right and burn your car up.
Your right It isn't rocket science your right so just start pulling **** apart until you get to the injectors.
