OH Catless Midpipe

Looking to get rid of the cat on my 8. Anyone have any suggestions on what would be the best purchase for around the $150 range? Thanks for the help!

Spend around $100: You get a straight pipe that will be really loud and raspy and will be likely to draw the anger of friends, family, neighbors, and cops.

Spend around $150: You get a packed midpipe that will sound fine and then blow out it's packing within a few hundred miles, and then it will be really loud and raspy and will be likely to draw the anger of friends, family, neighbors, and cops.

Spend around $200: You get a packed midpipe that will sound find and then blow out it's packing within a few thousand miles, and then it will be really loud and raspy and will be likely to draw the anger of friends, family, neighbors, and cops.

Spend around $300: You get a resonated midpipe that will rasp and drone, but be of a tolerable volume. This will last until the rasp and drone gets on your nerves.

Spend $500 for a BHR midpipe: You will get a single resonated midpipe that will not rasp, drone, it's welds will not fail, and it will allow you to pick the sound of your exhaust soley through the catback without mangling it. If there was another midpipe that could do all this, I'd recommend it too, but no other vendor seems to want to produce such a midpipe.

If the BHR midpipe feels like it would be something that would be appealing, then save your money for it. Too many people buy something else, and then end up spending more in the long run having to buy multiple pipes, when they could have just gotten the right pipe in the first place.

agreed. the BHR sounds the best from all the clips I've heard. Very tempting to buy a cheaper one but I'm saving up.
