I need some advice on my rx8. Its an 04 and ive just put in new ssv's, I reconnected everything and made sure it was all connected right but now the engine wont start. Before this the engine barely ran, almost like iy was in limp mode so I fixed that then the ssv's. I just want some advice on how to fix it since I'm trying to sell mine and a broke car wont sell.

 

There is a lot that you need to check. Battery is good and charged? Is your ignition system in good condition (spark plugs, wires, coils and starter)? Did you compression test the engine? When you try to start the car does it crank over evenly or is there a sputter?

 

To add to the above which is spot on, have to ensure the engine was not flooded and performed a deflood procedure? Having new plugs, wires, and coils are a must.
