Brakes locking up and 8 slides.

HI

I have tried to look in search bar and tried google but cant find any decent info.

The worry i have got is that when i brake a little harder than usual the car wont stop it just slides right out.My brakes and discs/rotors are perfect, the front have about 300mls wear on them.
I am thinking that my ABS might be the issue but i have no lights showing on dash.

Any input would be gratefully received.

I fitted new rotors/discs and pads on the front, just had a full safety check with a national company and it all passed.I am stumped,I work in the transport industry and drive a lot of cars/vans and i am a little concerned as at what is wrong.I am running stock apart from grooved and drilled discs/rotors.

If your car can lock the tires with medium brake pressure, I suspect the issue to be in the tires.

Does the front lock first or the rear? Does the car pull to one side when braking? Do you feel the ABS vibration in the pedal?

To follow up on the trickster god's question - How cold is it, and what tires are you running?

Car don't pull to side, very straight car with nearly new matching 225 uni-royals.Just had them checked just in-case they were bad.
