Boiling coolant ..help me guys

Hello ! Sorry for writing here , i am just really worried about my RX 8 operating temp. Now,for those who saw my last thread for traveling 1700miles with my rx 8 , i want to update that everything was normal and the driving was JUST SO FUN ! She ate a lot of fuel but it was worth it😂
Now ... when i got back i accidently broke 1 of the parts holding the cap to my coolant reservoir tabk, after this i put some water in it because i was on the road to somewhere and didnt had any coolant with me,everything was normal but since yesterday when i start the car and drive it more than 10-15 minutes the temp goes to red and bubbles start to get out of the coolant tank..i dont know what to do either who to go to,there arent many people that deal with rx 8's here.

So please guys you are my last hope

suggest what could cause this poblem, can it be the tank because it doesnt hold any pressure now? Or is it posible to have air somewhere in the system? Any other suggestions what to replace etc?

Thank you to every1 who read this even if they dont reply!!

At least the tank. It needs to be able to hold pressure. Letting temperature go on the red could have now created bigger problems. Hope it's just the tank, but do NOT drive itll like this.

First, stop driving the car until you replace the coolant tank.

The coolant system needs to be able to hold 13 psi of pressure. This raises the boiling point of the coolant. By breaking the coolant tank, you've eliminated its ability to do this.

If the coolant needle moved into the red, you had to get the engine pretty damned hot. Potentially hot enough to damage the coolant seals (which would require a rebuild).

Again, do not drive the car again until you've replaced the parts you broke.

Strongly suggest Mazda FL22 coolant. Some coolant ingredients attack the coolant seals, so don't put any ole thing in there.

When we are talking about bubbling exactly what do we mean? Because I understand there’s a type of baffling and I do see boiling type movement in the chamber but it’s only in the little chamber under upper hose….? Also been pushing little dribble out by the time drives over and parked
