Can anyone please tell me where the BCM is located? On a '04 to '05 RX8

 

Battery Control Module?

All done by the PCM.....

 

What is the actual problem? There is no BCM on this car.

 

Im sure he probably meant Body Control Module, that said its likely his problems aren't related to the body control module as its a very unlikely failure component and is something with engine or immobilizer.

 

Ive wondered if people who think their body control module is faulty was told by some rando mechanic who doesn't know what they're doing.

 

Said rando mechanic could also be the Google AI search or chatgpt or other things, ever since that AI search was added to google its really made things worse as far as misinformation since it often quotes unreliable sources.

 

Yes. Dear lord. Some of the other communities I hang out in that have to do with programming or planes are full of "but chatGPT told me to!"
