Axle shaft question

I need to replace my driver's side CV axle and I am noticing that there are different part numbers for the auto and manual but I didn't think they were actually different. I have a 2004 auto so does anyone know if the auto and manual shafts are interchangeable? Also, if they are, is the manual one stronger by chance?

Thanks

pretty sure you have to swap to the Sport model LSD differential too to do that; both complete axle assemblies and differential

Update to this, I went ahead and got a hold of a manual axle and, though I haven't been able to assemble it yet, it fits into my diff just fine and appears to be the same length as the old one. The interesting difference I found was that the old shaft was smooth and about 25mm thick which the new one from the manual has varying thickness with the thinnest sections being 27mm. That would lead me to believe the manual shafts are stronger.

This is what mine look like

And this is what the manual shafts look like
